COVID-19

We are not seeing any patients that have traveled out of the country, have a positive COVID-19 exposure or those with a fever.  Patients are asked to call for an appointment and to notify the office when they arrive but to remain in their car until an available room is available.  We solely are opening and closing the doors and ask that you minimize touching any surfaces.  We ask if you have a simple mask or scarf to please wear it to your visit, we do not have masks to provide to our patients.  Please call us for a virtual visit if you have any fever or upper respiratory symptoms, we will not be able to exam you in our office as this can put us and other patients at risk.  If you meet criteria for COVID-19 as determined through the virtual visit then we can provide the necessary documentation to proceed to the next step to obtain testing.  If you develop fever, cough and/or shortness of breath, please notify the ER before going there, this is for your safety and so they do not get overwhelmed.  We are seeing routine patients currently as your current medical conditions still need to be managed and we are following continuity of care in this regard.  Currently, we are allowed to do pain medicine management and controlled substance refills via virtual medicine.  Please note that you will still be responsible for your copay or deductible as if you are being seen in the office if you choose a telemedicince visit.  The current pandemic is not a reason to not follow recommended visit intervals as we have alternative resources available to you.
